Kim Sun Ah was the first woman I ever loved (kdrama actors speaking). It all started with Kim Sam Soon. I marathoned that damn drama like I only had a week left to live and no I’m not being dramatic. There was no sleep for almost 4 days unless I crashed at my laptop.  Shoot I had one of the theme songs from that drama as my ringtone for over a year (I currently have One Of A Kind).  What do I like about her so much?

Well for starters, she isn’t (or wasn’t) waif thin like the majority of the other actresses I had seen up to that point. As a matter of fact, there was talk of her being overweight (SAY WHA???) and then talked about how much weight she lost to play a dying woman on Scent Of A Woman. That aside, I loved her acting. She’s quick witted, funny, and can tickle those ivories like nobody’s business.

Also, Young Ajummah likes to couple up her favorite idols, actors & actresses. I think Sun Ah-ssi and Rain would make the PERFECT couple (since I am currently unavailable *sigh*). I know I am not alone with this since they did that mini reality series to show how Sun Ah and Rain prepared to do a show together.

see how cute they are together? And that was just part of it. I guess at the end of the day there isn’t a defining reason why I like her. I just do. I haven’t seen I Do, I Do but it’s on the list -____- I just have to get my ish together. What’s your favorite Kim Sun Ah drama?
