I watched the first episode of Faith a few days ago and was less then impressed. Don’t get me wrong, I was really REALLY looking forward to this drama (even though it was a historical one). But I just couldn’t get into it. Lee Min Hot aside, there was just nothing there.

I thought about just letting this one go but my fellow kdrama addicts insisted I give it the standard 3 episode try (or at least that’s my standard). So I did and let me tell you, episode 2 is much better! There weren’t any Star Wars light saber, glowing paint/blood madness that confused me in ep. 1 (they had all that stuff in the Joesen period?)

Phillip Lee and the grey haired fellow had some magical powers that we saw but it didn’t distract me like the other stuff so it was okay (though couldn’t they have more manlier weapons besides a flute and a fan? 0_o)

Alright I’ll stop griping about it because the second episode really was better then the first. I’m not even going to get into the fact that the lead actress plays a woman I’d really like to punch in the face. (isn’t that how most k-dramas are though). I’ll save that for the next post.
