Buying K-Dramas, Has This Ever Happend To You

HodgePodge K-Dramas
I love this k-drama so much, I want to keep it forever!
Have those words ever entered your brain? They enter my mine ever other week, lol. After watching my very first kdrama, Boys Over Flowers, I was so obsessed with it that I went on line and ordered what I thought was the finale (because surely it couldn’t end the way it did). I can’t remember where I ordered it from but when it came in the mail, I ripped into the packaging like a kid on Christmas.  Lo and behold…. Hana Yori Dango.
Not to knock the Japanese version of BOF because I have seen it since my snafu and it is good, but…this was not the Boys Over Flowers I wanted. I was pissed…and well a bit frustrated because I was such a k-drama newbie that I didn’t know there could be more then one version of something.
Anyways long story short I have since learned where to go when I want to buy a drama so that I may keep it forever and ever (that does sound a bit obsessive doesn’t it).
You can go to Yes Asia where they have great deals on all things k-related (kdrama, kpop,kstyle..). I’ve gotten a number of things from them and the process has all been pretty cool but since it comes from overseas, it takes a while.
If you don’t want to wait and want to buy locally, I go with Amazon. They actually have a fairly extensive supply on kdramas and kdrama OSTs that won’t break the piggy bank. They even have where you can buy them electronically (like an MP3 but for videos). Check out their list of k-dramas and see if your favorite is listed.
Have you ever accidentally bought the wrong thing in your quest to have your favorite kdrama?
