Behind every song, there is an emotion. Isn’t that a beautiful line? While I am not the first person to say that, I believe it 100% I haven’t been able to watch dramas the past few days like I wanted to. That basically means I have to limit myself to one episode of one drama a day while I have family visiting. To keep my addiction at bay, I have been listening to a lot of covers of music from dramas on youtube. There are some amazingly talented people out there aren’t there? While floating around I came across a piano cover of Subtitle, from the Bad Guy OST. Bad Guy was one of the first dramas I watched and I absolutely loved the soundtrack, so much so that I bought the whole thing from iTunes.
Anyway the girl that plays the cover was so good that I thought I’d see what else she had done and I am so glad that I did. She did a cover of Sujini’s Theme from the historical drama The Legend. I have never seen or even heard about the drama before but the song was so good that I knew I had to research it.
I’ll be honest. With the exception of Damo and the Japanese version of Dr Jin, Time Traveler, I cannot stay interested in historical dramas. I don’t know if its they style of clothing or what but I just can’t and unfortunately from what I’ve read, I probably won’t like The Legend. I will give it a try eventually but that is only because of this song. If you’ve seen it and think it’s good, let me know and maybe I’ll change my mind. I’m going to head back to youtube now and see what other dramas I may want to watch based off of their music.
Here is the original version of Sujini’s Theme. Press play, close your eyes and enjoy.
