It is the end of an era. Gooddrama.net is gone. I was feeling under the weather today and wanted nothing more than to get under the covers with a mug of tea and my laptop and watch some Korean movies.Gooddrama always had some of the newer movies I wanted to see. When I got to the site, however, I was in for a big surprise.

WTH???

I raced to twitter to find out if anyone knew anything.

@Young_Ajummah yes! I read the message! They must have been pinged big time with the DMCA notices! Big sweeps lately!

Belinda’s reason as to why they’ve disappeared makes sense. Gooddrama probably wasn’t authorized to have those movies and we all know about the dangers of having copyrighted materials. I guess they finally got shut down because of it.

Gosh I’ll miss them.

It’s not like they didn’t have their problems. The subtitles were average at best, the way the movies were cut up was annoying and sometimes the pop-ups were ridiculous. But….

But.

They still had some great movies and dramas. Now I’m going to have to find a new movie home. Anyone know of any?
