I’m always on the lookout for new great music. It’s on my brain constantly, whatever song that I’m currently obsessed with will play on a constant loop until I find a new song to replace it. Enter Justin Park.
Justin is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles. In 2015, Justin signed with 5A LABEL, a U.S. record label, and development agency that aims to produce music for the U.S & Asian markets, specifically geared towards South Korea. Since then, Justin has trained and worked with the world’s best, including vocal trainers Ann One (Drunken Tiger, Yoon Mirae) and Robert Stevenson (Usher, Justin Timberlake), dance instructors from The Kinjaz, and of course, the mentorship of Peter Hong, aka MSTR RCKS of 5A LABEL.
I say all that to say that the man is legitimately talented. Not only does he make great covers, Justin has written music for K-pop acts like B.A.P and has worked with major entertainment companies across Asia. Now Justin has released his newest single called “Dates in LA (DILA)” which frankly is a summer bop. Hip-hop producer BrandUn DeShay (Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper) helped create “DILA” and was further arranged by 5A LABEL along with pianist/keyboardist Rick’ey Pageot (Madonna) and gospel choir leader Marcus Pettit. Justin wrote the melody and lyrics, along with the help of singer-songwriter Andrew Choi (EXO, SM Entertainment).
