K-HipHop Review: Gary – Mr. Gae

YO!!!!! I’m sure you’ve heard the hubba-balo about Gary’s XXX m/v for his song Shower Later (feat.Crush). We’ll get to that later. Just be forewarned, that ish is like 25+.

Gary (1/2 of Leessang) released his mini album yesterday to the anticipation of his fans. I can’t say that I’ve listened to a lot of Leessang’s music but I do know Gary from Running Man.

So I was interested in hearing his style in a solo album. Then I heard the buzz about his Shower Later m/v and I was ready to go! So ready that I decided to do a reaction video on it.

So yeah…that pretty much sums up my feelings on that. Musically speaking, I REALLY like the song. So much so that I downloaded it from iTunes.

The rest of the album is solid (as in its a good album).

Zotto Mola: I haven’t gotten to the translations yet but I like the feel of it.

Drunken Night Tune: I like Jae In’s voice in this. As well as the piano and the accordion.

Mr. Gae: Ah!!! This goes so hard in my headphones!!! Love the bass, love the anger feel, no idea what he’s saying.

All in all, it’s a good mini album. What I don’t understand is why release a mini album? I’d like to hear more. Oh well…beggars can’t be choosy I guess. So do you like it? Let me know in the comments below!
