K-Pop Review: BTS – The Best Moment In Life Pt. 1

K-Pop Korean Hip-Hop

Lawd, it’s been forever right? I will post why I’ve been absent at another time, but for now, let’s get into this k-pop album review on BTS – The Best Moment In Life Pt. 1.

BTS!!!! Have mercy! This album is fire. I mean truly! I was not part of the ARMY but I am rectifying that issue, IMMEDIATELY!

I did a quick reaction to their m/v I Need U today while on break from work. Sorry about the volume issues, I am working on that.

My reaction did that song NO justice. That song is amazing! I don’t know anyone outside of Rap Monster but I will be fixing that issue post haste.

Hold Me Tight reminds me of riding in the car with your boo-thang, headed somewhere to get into some adult situations. I love Rap Mon’s raspy rap/singing voice in this song. The music is haunting and I think it might be my favorite off the album.

Dope is alright. It reminds me of some of their songs off of their first album. The beat is hard but I don’t find myself rushing to repeat it.

Boys With Fun, another song that’s just ehhh for me. Maybe my musical tastes have changed or maybe because I am just so in love with the first two songs.  I don’t plan on listening to this song again though.

Converse High… I really started to dismiss this song. I’m glad I didn’t. Now don’t get me wrong, I am still sticking with the first two songs but Converse High has a very catchy chorus.

Moving On is more in line with the first two songs. I’m pleased with that. Though I am not fluent in Korean, I can understand the meaning of this song through the emotion that BTS…well emotes.

What are your thoughts on their newest album? The fact that it’s a part 1 makes me insanely happy. Hopefully part 2 won’t be too far behind.
