All right! I know it’s been a few weeks since KCon but I finally have enough time to actually write everything down. Can we say how exciting that whole experience was? As a kpop fan in the States, you HAVE to attend KCon, at least once. It is incredible! I am already wishing for summer next year so I can go back. *sigh* I will be recapping as much as possible but for now, I want to talk about the panel I was lucky enough to be invited to sit on, which was called The Secret Lives of Kpop Fans Over 30. It was on Sunday, the last day of KCon and I was nervous the whole weekend thinking about it. When it was go time, however, I was READY.

I was blown away when I walked into the room because the room was PACKED! I wanted the panel to be successful because I know there are MANY fans of Korean music that are over 30 that have voices but may be a bit nervous or shy about being “loud and proud”.   Tears were in my eyes when I saw how many people were there, TEARS! As a matter of fact, the workers had to start turning people away because the room was full to capacity.  *PROUD MOMENT*

My co-panelists and moderator were very funny and balanced (maybe unbalanced is a better word, lol) and kept the conversation going. I have to say that was the FASTEST hour I’ve ever sat through. The panel did so well that security had to come in multiple times to get us to leave. People kept asking us to stay.

There was so much more to discuss! I felt as if we could speak about the things we love, forever! Or at the very least, a very long time. Hopefully, KCON heard how amazing the panel was and ask for it back next year.  I’m already saving and planning now.
