Review

I feel the need to slap my own hands because Netflix has been recommending this movie for a while and I’ve been ignoring it. Well, today I felt like watching a few movies and said to myself “Self, it’s time to watch some shows that were recommended.” Enter Girl Scout.

I also need to be slapped on the hands because I didn’t realize my favorite actress Kim Sun Ah is in it. Ugh…blame it on old age. Or almost old age. Whatever. I have made my penance so it’s okay. Sort of… I digress…

Anyways Girl Scout is about four women who give their savings to a woman, Hye Ran, who proceeds to run off with it. After a lot of crying and screaming at each other, they decide to chase her down. Hijinks and hilarity ensue. In addition to chasing the woman, there is a loan shark mixed up in this, Lee Dong Jae.

Can we say eye candy? Seriously if he was my loan shark, I might purposely not pay my loan. J/K This was a good movie that wasn’t too heavy for the ole brain. I always love watching Kim Sun Ah, in a fight scene. AND my favorite 할머니, Na Moon Hee is also in this movie.

I loved her in Almighty Park Jung Keum and I love her in this. Fiesty, humorous…reminds me of my 할머니. Anyway if you want to watch something light, funny, and with a bit of action check out Girl Scout on Netflix. If you are still on the fence about it, check out the trailer below.

Let me know what you think!
